Madhubani art, also known as Mithila art, is a traditional Indian painting style from Bihar, characterized by monotone or vibrant colors and intricate patterns. Originating from ancient traditions, it was traditionally practiced by women on walls and floors for important occasions. Using natural dyes and tools like twigs and fingers, artists depict mythological figures, nature, and daily life. Madhubani art holds cultural significance, preserving traditions and conveying blessings.
